ReplyDeletema'am i have a doubt
ReplyDeletema'am in the 1st video (structure of cell wall) the narrator says middle lamella is the space between cells, so is middle lamella and inter-cellular space the same thing?
Artham , we cannot call the middle Lamella as inter cellular space, since it made of calcium & pectin.
DeleteBut it is found in the Inter cellular space region
No Artham, both are different things.
DeleteMiddle lamella is made up of calcium and pectin, so it acts as a cementing material in between adjacent cell.
But yes it is found in inter cellular space.
so ma'am can we say middle lamella is a part of inter-cellular space?
Deletethank you ma'am
